Exploring a city is encountering the stories that have shaped it. True catalogs of forms and styles, cities are collages of eras, assemblages where visions, projects, and sensibilities accumulate. For the MCTunis project, using our tool "Captures d’écran" (Screenshots), we engaged in a photographic conversation about and around the Central Market of Tunis. This device allows us to cross multiple viewpoints and create real-time collages on our phones using Instagram messaging.
MC Tunis is one of the winning projects of the IMANEO program (CNRS/INHA). It was the subject of an exhibition at the Institut National d’Histoire de l’Art in September 2023.
